WORKING TOWARDS A BETTER TOMORROW

We’re a lively not-for-profit organization on a mission to empower our community. Our main goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where we can connect with youth through arts, culture, education, diversity and inclusion, health and wellness, religion, and a variety of community activities.

Our youth programs encompass a variety of initiatives, including school assemblies, Black youth empowerment programs, teacher workshops, fitness programs, and summer camps. We have recently expanded our Spring and Winter agenda to include the celebration of Ramadan. 

Through our outreach with the Bluewater District School Board, we’re helping Black youth and families access culturally relevant counseling, career training, recreational programs, and other vital services that tackle the systemic challenges faced by Black Canadians. We make it a priority to keep our programs and services aligned with the evolving needs of the communities we serve.

We’re here to empower participants to tap into their potential, build transferable skills, and inspire positive social change in their neighborhoods. Plus, we’re expanding our reach to Dundalk and have teamed up with the Township of Southgate. In fact, thanks to our efforts.

Southgate has officially recognized February as Black History Month for the first time since its amalgamation!

We are excited to offer a wide range of programs and look forward to continuing collaboration with this quickly growing and diverse community.
